ATLReview
This two-level West Midtown bar, from the team behind Girl Diver and Char, is a spot we’d drop in our drinks-and-a-light-bite bucket. If ATL-iens beamed up Picasso into present day, he'd fall in love with Bar Diver's colorful, cubism-esque mural walls. Pink light bulbs in every wicker lighting fixture give a funky glow to the main bar room. The party continues upstairs, where another bar is decked out with private lounge booths and pink, neon signs that say things like “sexy AF.” And it is an accurate way to describe the fun, moody space and playful cocktail menu. You'll enjoy drinks like the fruity Come On Barbie, which is perfectly balanced. Just don’t come too hungry since dim sum and small plates are hit (mussels sitting in a spicy green curry sauce) or miss (vegetable gyoza arrive cold and flavorless).
