The second location of a beloved Bed-Stuy fishmonger, Shipwreck Seafood Boutique in Williamsburg feels like a New England seafood shack. The bone-white brick exterior looks like it’s been sand-blasted on a breezy beach for decades, and there are a few mosaic tables alongside the fish case. This branch is a welcome addition to the neighborhood for the North Brooklyn work-from-home crowd, with filling lunch options like a $6 clam chowder so thick that a spoon rests on top. You’ll also find grilled and fried fish sandwiches, and a few seafood salads. While eating, contemplate which of the catch-of-the-day options to take home and cook up for dinner.
