Cantina Los Caballitos
Included In
Cantina Los Caballitos is in the big orange and blue building on East Passyunk, and if you still can’t find it, look for the huge patio that takes up what should house a whole second restaurant. They serve solid Mexican food that tastes even better when you’ve had a few margaritas, and its where you should spend your Saturdays in the summer. Even if it’s not 85 and sunny outside, they still have a great Happy Hour where you can get $6 margaritas and $20 pitchers.
The food probably isn’t why you end up here, but it’s also tough to have a few margs without ordering at least some nachos. And you won’t be disappointed—the nachos are one of our favorite things on the menu, and you can add steak or even vegan beef to them for a few extra dollars. We also like their customizable tacos, and they have 14 different kinds. They’re not the best you’ll have in the city, but they’re great as a side to your main course Paloma.
