Rosticceria Evelina
Included In
You go to Evelina, an Italian spot in Fort Greene, for the neighborhood vibes and pasta. And you go to Rosticceria Evelina, their newer sister restaurant in Clinton Hill, for the neighborhood vibes and chicken. Specifically, a beautiful bird that spun around on a rotisserie spit before landing on a plate of crispy yukon gold potatoes and carrots. Other things that make a great prelude to that chicken: at least one pizza, the slaw-like brussel sprouts and kale salad, and the jamon Iberico croquettes. Big groups can spread out in the covered garden out back, but the bar up front and handful of tables in the main dining room are equally great spots to sit. It’s bright, and less cozy and romantic-feeling than Evelina, so bring someone you don’t mind seeing in HD.
