This South Beach spot makes very tasty Mediterranean food, including gyros. It’s a low-key place where you’ll probably see a bathroom door being propped open with a rusty kettlebell or drunk tourists on the hunt for something to eat. But what it lacks in looks, it makes up for in slow-turning, juicy beef. You’ll have a prime view as they shave off slices just for you. Just try not to look too creepy while you stare at it.
Lemoni is a little neighborhood cafe in Buena Vista serving good sandwiches, wraps, and more slightly healthy-ish food.
Fatair Al Basha is a casual little Lebanese spot on 8th Street good for takeout or a quick, quiet meal. They also have some Lebanese goods for sale.
Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in South Beach serves good fried chicken and other Southern dishes—but you should focus on the chicken.
SuViche is a good place to grab a quick lunch or dinner in South Beach. They do Peruvian/Japanese food here, including sushi and ceviche.
