What if we told you, that a restaurant named TÊTE Charcuterie isn't only about the meats. That while charcuterie and sausages are part of the equation, it serves excellent veggies as well. That TÊTE holds its own in the highly revered West Loop restaurant scene. What if we told you, that you're making a mistake by dismissing TÊTE. ESPN films and The Infatuation Chicago present: TÊTE Charcuterie - Don’t Forget The Veggies.
We considered approaching ESPN to make this video, but remembered they have zero credibility when it comes to reliable journalism. No matter, because we're all about investigative journalism - we eat a lot. And our reporting on TÊTE Charcuterie includes only the facts.
The high end charcuterie and sausages are great, which is to be expected. But what we didn't expect is everything else on the menu to be as exciting and taste as good. Vegetables are excellent, especially the Autumn Garden entrée, and the fish options don't slouch either. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, so take their advice if you're unsure of what to order.
Like most of the restaurants in this part of town, TÊTE takes on a nice, yet casual and industrial feel because of the old warehouse-like building it occupies. The space is open, including the kitchen, so you can watch everything going on. You're wallet will also be open, because the cost manages to creep up on the higher side. But it's worth it for the right occasion and with the right people interested in charcuterie and a menu that's a little different.
What if we told you, that you should have no doubts. Eat at TÊTE.
