Fatso's Last Stand
Included In
There’s a giant yellow sign outside of Fatso’s that reads like a resume: a bulleted list (literally) of strengths including burgers, char dogs, and fried shrimp. But by the time you see it, you'll already know Fatso's Last Stand means business by the smell of grilled meat that hits halfway down the block. The hot dogs at this small Ukrainian Village spot are always charred, never steamed. That means no matter what you order—whether Chicago-style, topped with chili, or Maxwell Street polish—you’ll get a juicy dog packed with the flavor of 1,000 summer BBQs. And while there isn’t much seating indoors, Fatso's patio has lots of picnic benches so you won't have to stage your own last stand over a counter stool.
