House of Cocotte
House of Cocotte looks like countless other restaurants in the Arts District, with an interior heavy on brick and exposed rafters. But this all-day French spot has more utility than meets the eye. It’s part coworking space and part cafe, and everything from the croque monsieur to the juicy steak frites would be at home in a packed Parisian bistro. The dining room is about the size of a furniture warehouse, so last-minute tables are usually a breeze. Use it as a place to sip wine and snack on nicoise salad whenever you don’t feel like making dinner reservations.
