It might seem like an unlikely combo at first, but there’s something about drinking a frozen rum cocktail while playing ten-pin bowling and snacking on chicken tenders and po’boys that just works. That’s exactly what you can do at Wilma’s, and all of it makes for one of the best group activities or places to take your kids in Wilmington. This mix of sunny bar and lounge, with four lanes that can be reserved ahead for ten-pin bowling, involves fewer, smaller pins than regular bowling, plus a shorter lane that’s a little easier (especially once the drinks start flowing). If you need a break from rolling gutter balls, they also have a sit-down restaurant.
