The Pig
You’ve been on a diet of sprouted grains and zucchini for a week, and you forget what it feels like to be full. You had a really bad day. You just want some meat. The fix to all of these dilemmas is to go to The Pig. This nose-to-tail restaurant in Logan Circle has enough charcuterie, sausage, pork, burgers, and ribs to help you eat away your problems (for the next few hours, at least). And while you don’t want to bring a vegetarian here, you should also make sure the mac and cheese and crispy cauliflower are on your table.
Fittingly, The Pig has a farmhouse feel to it - rustic wooden booths, old timey posters, and lots of things served in skillets. It works for a casual dinner or lunch, as long as you can fit in a nap shortly after.
