Union Market

$$$$Perfect For:Unique Dining ExperienceDrinks & A Light Bite

This Union Market spot is best known as the restaurant that’s also a colorful art gallery, but it’s the tasty tapas you’ll be paying more attention to. The menu is made up of a couple dozen small plates that use a variety of international flavors, like the incredibly juicy shiso wrapped chicken thigh and the crispy criolla potatoes, which are sweet, deep-fried little nuggets covered in little bits of cheese. People swing through after work for discounted drinks and tapas at the bar from 3-6pm, which is when you’ll get the best value—and a pretty small crowd. The main dining room is great for sharing a bunch of plates with friends before checking out the art around the space.
