Are you friends with a Californian? Have you ever felt victimized by their criticism of your favorite Mexican restaurant? Next time you go out with them, try Gringos & Mariachis. It probably won’t live up to that taco truck in LA that’s “just on another level,” but it’s a good substitute, and definitely your best bet for Tex-Mex if you’re in Bethesda. And with low-prices, bright murals, a loud soundtrack, and lots of margarita options, it’s also the best spot in the neighborhood for after-work drinks or a date. And it has seating. Take that, California.
