Just off Wisconsin Avenue, in the shadow of the National Cathedral, 2Amys Neapolitan Pizzeria is serving some of the best pizza in town. Weekends and weeknights, 2Amys will be brimming with families and groups of friends sharing crisp pizzas with perfectly charred crusts and bottles of wine. The casual main dining room is our favorite place to eat since there’s a full view of the pizza-making in action, but on nice spring days, check out the patio. Try the Two Amys or the Margherita pizza with pepperoni. If you want it sliced, don’t forget to ask. But it’s more fun to cut it yourself.
