Yamacho is a perfect spot for a casual udon lunch. The noodles are great, and the smooth jazz soundtrack doesn't hurt either.
Nodaiwa is an old-school spot known for their excellent unagi (eel). It's a great option for a nicer meal that won't empty your bank account.
Katsu (fried chicken or pork) is a traditional Japanese dish, but Imakatsu is one of few places to get it perfectly right.
Ukyo is a casual spot with Japanese/French fusion. Be sure to get the egg rice with shaved truffles and plenty of sake.
Torishige is where the office workers (salaryman) head after work. It's a yakitori spot with excellent chicken skewers.
