Barracuda Cantina
After riding the waves at Los Cerritos beach, surfers meet up at Barracuda Cantina to refuel, and whether you’re capable of standing up on a board or not, you should join them. This sand-floor taco spot serves Baja beers and spicy mezcal margaritas, best paired with one of their specialties: grilled shrimp tacos, smoked fish quesadillas, or a massive fried fish burrito (that’s really like two burritos in one) stuffed with rice, beans, cole slaw, guacamole, and salsa. It’s best to go around lunchtime and stay until after sunset—the bar often has live music and a rotating calendar of visiting breweries.
