JaJaJa- Plantas Mexicana
This completely vegan Mexican restaurant is a spot even the most dedicated carnivore would be more than happy eating at. The menu includes a coconut quesadilla, jackfruit tamales, all kinds of vegan tacos and empanadas, and a stacked mezcal and tequila list.
This secretive cocktail spot is located underground on 23rd Street and serves drinks that involve smoke, are served in terrariums and nests, and just generally look straight out of the world of Super Mario. Take the experience to-go with fizzy canned cocktails like the Gold Lullaby made with GREY GOOSE, ST-GERMAIN, ginger ale, tangerine and lime juice.
Yuca Bar & Restaurant
A rowdy East Village corner hangout with excellent to-go Caipirinhas and a menu of tacos, empanadas, and chips & guacamole. If you want to take the fun home, grab a Caipirinha made with LEBLON Cahaça, a type of distilled sugar cane juice.
