Tapster

Tapster is a self-serve beer bar with roughly four dozen taps located directly next to Google’s SLU building. It also doubles as a swirling vortex of rowdy noise and software interns. There’s trivia on Monday nights, chair swings that dangle from the ceiling, and written affirmations on the walls like “Today is the day!” and “It’s OK to be self serving.” On a weeknight after 5pm, it’s absolute chaos in here, which will probably feel miserable if you were hoping for a lowkey, after-work beer. There’s nothing lowkey about this place, so use it if you’re in the mood to party—or try it out on a weekend during the day.
