Salumi

Salumi is a tiny mecca of in-house cured meat and handmade mozzarella—and you will get both of those things on a fresh ciabatta roll along with an olive oil/caper/garlic spread that makes your breath atrocious but your taste buds very excited. If you can squeeze your group at one of the tiny bistro tables amongst the Italian market vibes, also consider ordering the daily-rotating hot sandwiches (get the porchetta or meatball), antipasto platters, and pasta specials. But a pro move is to take your sandwiches (and/or a couple pounds of sliced meats) to a picnic, which will make your friends glad they kept you around even when you did that embarrassing thing that one time.
