The team behind Elliot’s Oyster House operates this Italian spot on Pier 55. It’s a place where you can enjoy views of Puget Sound on their wraparound patio with all the other tourists while eating short rib pappardelle. Even though we wouldn’t tell anybody to go out of their way to come here, it’s still a solid option if you’re by the waterfront and need some pasta. To start, get some crispy focaccia that tastes great with the accompanying whipped lardo, then go for the aforementioned pappardelle, or a seafood entree like perfectly-cooked salmon with white beans and mushrooms.

There’s no doubt that Elliot’s Oyster House is touristy, but the waterfront patio and abundance of oysters means it’s still a decent place to hang downtown.
