The square focaccia pizza slices at Princi are kind of on the pricier side, but they’re pretty filling and bake extremely quickly. Since Princi doubles as a bakery, you could also technically eat a loaf of rustic bread or a chocolate ganache tart for lunch - which we can vouch for, too.

Bizzarro Italian Cafe
Bizzarro in Wallingford kind of looks like a circus horror movie set, but it somehow works. Probably because the Italian food is so great.
Suggested by our writers
Bakery Nouveau is an excellent Capitol Hill bakery we like most for the twice baked almond croissant and croque monsieur.
Supreme is a West Seattle pizzeria with New York-style pies and slices, plus boozy slushies and excellent garlic knots.
Dino’s Tomato Pie
Dino’s is one of few places in Seattle that knows how to do New York pizza. It’s one of our favorite spots in Cap Hill for dinner and drinks.
