List is basically a nightclub pretending to be a restaurant. It’s so very dark (and only lit with red lightbulbs) that you are actually at serious risk of tripping over yourself, it’s trying incredibly hard to be sexy, and on the weekends it’s usually crowded with beautiful people gazing into each other’s eyes. This is the date-night hub of Belltown, and it’s where you should bring someone if you’re more concerned with what’s going to happen after you leave the restaurant than what's for dinner. That said, the gnocchi with truffle cream is consistently delicious, and what you want to eat here. If there’s a wait for a table (likely), head to Wakefield Bar around the corner for a drink in the meantime.
