Korochka Tavern

(206) 420-3142

12348 Lake City Way NE

Seattle, WA 98125

Korochka is a bar with cool art deco wallpaper, great cocktails, a Tetris machine that’s free to use, friendly bartenders, and superb Russian food like pork pelmeni dumplings and homemade rye bread with feta. Come during Happy Hour for a $6 beet-infused Moscow Mule - you might even have a life-affirming conversation with another regular.

Sometimes, all it takes to keep someone from leaving is to make them feel like they belong. That’s where Korochka Tavern comes in. It’s an art deco wallpaper-covered Russian spot in Lake City far away from all the software developers and miniature Australian Shepherds. We love this place because the bartenders are super friendly, the pork pelmeni dumplings with vinegar and hot sauce are delicious, and the Moscow mules are strong and reasonably-priced. Grab a couple bar seats, and don’t be surprised if you have a life-affirming conversation with another regular.

Korochka Tavern is a Russian bar in Lake City that works for whatever kind of night you want to have. You can roll in and play some free Tetris with a pint of beer while staring down the taxidermied bear hide hanging on the wall. But you can also sit at a barstool, drink an excellent beet-infused Moscow mule, and admire their art deco wallpaper. It’s our favorite North Seattle neighborhood bar, and if the cocktails don’t make you a regular, the pelmeni dumplings and homemade rye bread will.
