Pioneer Square has an outstanding selection of bars, and Good Bar is no exception. This two-storied spot is an excellent place to spend a few hours sipping Sazeracs and eating charcuterie. Besides the antique bank door (wheel and all) and extremely attractive space, our favorite thing about Good Bar is the daily meat and cheese selection. You can order some charcuterie as snacks with a baguette and beer butter, or if you’re wanting more of a meal, get the sloppy joe with stout and roasted onion aioli. Happy hour extends longer than most places, so you have until the clock strikes 7pm every day to get in on the specials.

Smith is a Capitol Hill bar with lumberjack vibes and a very good burger.

Biscuit Bitch is where you go in Pioneer Square for breakfast (or lunch) euphoria. Get the Bitchwich and add gravy.

Review

The Sexton is a spot in Ballard for a first date or bar crawl stop. It has a vintage vibe, and the cocktails and Southern bar food are great.

For a grown-up biergarten, try Altstadt in Pioneer Square. It has giant communal tables, solid German food, boots of beer, and customers over 21.
