Chop Suey is a terrific music venue on Capitol Hill. You’ll find every type of event here from all-ages performances by the School Of Rock in Issaquah to “Candi Pop” nights featuring pop music from the 90′s and early 2000s. Our favorite time to show up is Saturday night for their weekly “Dance Yourself Clean” dance party, where they play remixed music from The Killers, Robyn, LCD Soundsystem, and similar artists that make you want to scream-sing along. The best part is, you won’t have to get too close and personal with a stranger’s armpit since it never gets too crowded.

Stout is a Capitol Hill utility bar. It’s never too busy, and works for groups, birthday pre-games, and watching sports. The food is decent too.
