Cascade Coffee Works is a little more crowded than other coffee shops in South Lake Union, but it’s a great place to get some work done.There’s a nice mix of tables and sofas, and it isn’t too difficult to find an outlet. Cascade also carries a really good brand of almond milk.

Bakery Nouveau is an excellent Capitol Hill bakery we like most for the twice baked almond croissant and croque monsieur.
Mr. West Cafe is an attractive espresso bar and all day cafe with substantial food Downtown.
Assembly Hall is a market, burger joint, breakfast diner, coffee shop, and espresso bar in South Lake Union. Come here and stay all day.
