This fast-casual Mediterranean spot is underneath a newly-constructed apartment complex and near a hard hat zone, but also is conveniently near the Columbia City light rail station. Their beef/lamb gyro sandwiches are excellent, with highly flavorful meat and tzatziki that has a spicy kick to it. Chicken shawarma and falafel are good orders here, too. This place is great for a quick weeknight dinner, whether you’re staying to eat it or just picking something up on the way home.

For a quick lunch in South Lake Union, try Mamnoon Street. It’s a counter-service version of the original with a similar Middle Eastern menu.

Head to Ciudad, a Middle Eastern spot in Georgetown, for a solid mezze and grilled meat dinner that won’t be too expensive.
