Vega Pizzeria
Vega is a neighborhood restaurant in Bernal Heights that serves delicious pasta in a small, dimly-lit space. Order a glass of wine or Peroni and try their cheesy baked rigatoni and rich gnocchi boscaiola with sausage and white truffle oil. They also make good pizzas with homemade tomato sauce, and appetizers like grilled calamari if you need a break from carb overload. On nicer evenings, ask to sit out front. Their heated patio will take you right back to your favorite sidewalk cafe in Rome.
