We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

1160 Union St.

San Francisco, CA N2H 4X4

This small spot on Union St. recently started serving Istanbul street food like muhammara, hummus, and larger items like kafte meatballs in rice bowls, salads, and wraps. You can dine in, but the menu is mostly designed for takeout and delivery.

The pita sandwiches from Sumac in Russian Hill are light and loaded with spinach and chickpea salad instead of rice. Our favorite thing to fill them with are their delicious kofte meatballs.

Sumac is all about wraps and rice bowls, but they recently started serving lentil soup with caramelized onions - if you want a break from chicken noodle or pho.
