Snail Bar
If you want to snack on something good while sipping on a funky glass of pét nat, head to Snail Bar. The black-and-white checkered tiles, leafy plants, and bustling open kitchen make the space charming and cozy—like your friend’s new apartment that’s a little cooler than yours—and the perfect backdrop to enjoy something from their large bottle selection. The frequently-changing food menu has excellent small plates, like arepas topped with creamy bay shrimp, avocado, and salsa macha, and oysters, clams, and scallop crudo. But the wine bar’s titular snails, with cashew miso, garlic butter, and kumquats, will keep you coming back.
