Santería calls themselves a margarita bar, but their extensive cocktail menu also includes everything from sangria and frosé to mezcal on the rocks. On my first visit to their outdoor parklet, I was so impressed by their never-ending cocktail list - choosing one was hard, but I settled on the Girl de Polanco and never looked back. Drinks aside, though, I’d go back to this Castro spot just for the perfectly-charred octopus al pastor with caramelized pineapple and beet-dyed tortillas. Next time I want to grab a drink with someone at a place that also has good food, you’ll find me here.
