An awesome happy hour deal (plus delicious free bar/trail mix) is what brings us back to Reed & Greenough more often than we care to admit. This Marina bar has games, a piano player, and a lot of great people watching due to the suit-wearing crowd that tends to gather very drunkenly later in the night. Point of note: their Greyhounds are fantastic.

Stop by Radhaus after a long day in Fort Mason for some Belgian beers and German food like bratwurst and schnitzel.
Rose’s Cafe in Cow Hollow has great granola, pastries and an excellent breakfast pizza. Hit it in the morning for an outdoor breakfast.
Delarosa is a neighborhood institution in the Marina for pizza, salads, and epic people watching.

Harper & Rye’s (relatively) inexpensive cocktails and big space make it a good spot for a first date around Nob Hill.
