Just because you have an actual office in the Financial District doesn’t mean you actually have to work in that office all the time. Sometimes you need a sanity break and an escape from Roger your cubicle mate and his constant updates about how sick The Battery is. Run to Mazarine, get some coffee and avocado toast and stay safe. They have good salads and a few other toasts besides avocado.

The Mill in Nopa is the place you keep hearing about with the fancy toast, and it’s worth paying for, especially to hang out here a little longer.
Nook is a solidly on-price, reliable neighborhood hang in Russian Hill. Even if they do weird things with granola.
