Macondray is so lush and full of plants that we wouldn’t be surprised if it actually doubled as a hummingbird sanctuary. This bar is one of the prettier spots in Russian Hill to drink cocktails like the Brandy Alexander Davenport or their spicy Flor De Pascua with mezcal, tequila, and pomegranate. If you want something to snack on, they also have New England-inspired food like lobster rolls and pier fries covered in malt vinegar powder.
