The Oakland bar delayed opening for a year due to the pandemic and finally had its grand opening in March (the two co-owners launched a tamale pop up called Chancho’s in the interim). This restaurant/cocktail bar in Uptown Oakland softly opened in March, and has been serving things like corn and sweet potato fritters, burgers, Scotch eggs made with chorizo, and grilled octopus ever since. They also have a pretty extensive list of cocktails that incorporate things like shiso or ancho chile and chocolate, along with beer and wine.
