Lord Stanley
Included In
Lord Stanley first opened in 2015, and the Nob Hill restaurant quickly became the neighborhood’s acclaimed golden child. From 2021 to 2023, they transitioned into a series of pop-ups. And now, they’re back as a full-service French restaurant with a rotating six-course menu. The $130 prix fixe is hit-or-miss: a crème fraîche-drenched crab dip is a luxurious cream bomb, but the take on cioppino is underwhelming. Still, if you’re in the area and have a corporate card to use, the candlelit dining room with big windows overlooking Broadway is a pleasant place to have a meal. They also have a takeout window with things like soups and pulled pork sandwiches to go, or if you don’t want to commit to the tasting menu, you can order a la carte.
