Long Bridge Pizza Co.

Head to the Dogpatch and you’ll spot plenty of white boxes making their way down 3rd Street or hanging out with a pint at Dogpatch Saloon. All roads lead to Long Bridge Pizza. The casual spot does sourdough pies right. The has a nice snap—never too chewy or hard. And you can taste the tang of the sourdough, separate from the high quality toppings. Like any great neighborhood spot, this is a place to post up in one of the three dining rooms and gab about how today was the best or worst day ever. A game will probably be on one of the many large TVs. Order from the counter and let the beer and pizza come to you.

Loading Dock

Elements that make this meat-centric pie our usual order are flavorful sopressata, juicy sausage, and a satisfying cheese pull. We also appreciate the lingering taste of garlic. The Loading Dock is a top contender for the best pizza here.

Pizza Jacker

This white pie is zingy and bright, mainly because there isn’t a drop of tomato sauce to be found. And also because sweet heat comes from the chili sauce that’s drizzled over the arugula mound. Order this.

Caesar Salad

We’ve come to expect mediocrity from Caesar salads at most casual pizza joints. But Long Bridge Pizza is no ordinary pizza joint. Creamy dressing, ample amounts of shaved parmesan, and croutons that don’t taste like they came from a vacuum sealed bag make this salad. It looks small, but we’ve split it with four people before as a warm-up to the main course and always been satisfied.

Square Pepperoni

Long Bridge Pizza is not afraid to step outside its lane. See: Thursday Detroit-style pizza night. The first thing you'll notice when this pie arrives is the baked yellow and white cheese on the rim of the fluffy sourdough bread. It’s decadent but not in an overly oily sort of way. We have no problem sending you to Longbridge on a Thursday night just for this, but the thin-crust pies are better.
