La Cocina Municipal Marketplace
Where we've featured it
The women-led food hall from kitchen incubator La Cocina opened on Monday, April 5th, and currently features food stalls helmed by six incredible female chefs (get to know each chef here). Whether you’re in the mood for spicy peanut stew from Teranga or a chilaquiles meal kit from Mi Morena, you can stop by this week and check out the long-awaited marketplace. They’re currently open weekdays from 11am-2:30pm.
The new women-led food hall in the Tenderloin is spearheaded by La Cocina, a non-profit incubator that helps Bay Area women of color launch their food businesses. It’s currently home to six chefs who are serving everything from maafè and pupusas to jerk chicken tacos (you can read all about the chefs here). The marketplace is open for takeout and delivery.
