If you’ve wound up at Glen Park Station, we hope you like sports - or at least own a knockoff 49ers jersey you can wear to pretend you do. This neighborhood dive is one of the best spots in the city to watch football, baseball, and basketball (and one of the only places to drink in Glen Park for that matter). But if rooting for the Giants or “elite defenders” is as boring for you as an episode of The Big Bang Theory, there’s a fireplace, a back patio, and free hotdogs on football game days. When you’re in the mood for burritos or pizza, you can also bring in food from La Corneta Taqueria or La Gialina, both next door.

We’ve spent way too much time at Greens Sports Bar in Russian Hill. You should too.

Sports, beer, and surprisingly great German food make for a winning combination
