When you want to laze around a firepit in a well-worn Adirondack chair, all roads lead to Drake’s. The massive beer garden in Uptown Oakland checks all the boxes of a perfect “let’s grab a drink and catch up” spot. The wood-fired pizza, topped with roasted vegetables or bacon and balsamic glaze, is much better than your average bar snack. Sipping on one of their house beers by the fire is our preferred way to spend a Friday night.
