Daily Driver’s flagship location in Dogpatch feels more like a hip coworking space than it does a spot for wood-fired bagels. Luckily, it functions as both. When you step inside the two-story spot, you’ll see ovens set up right in the middle of everything, and bagels rolled out and baked fresh daily. The menu is pretty simple—you can build your own bagel with spreads and toppings like lox or avocado, but we like to go with the classic bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. No matter how you dress it up, the bagels are a deep golden-brown and have a satisfying crunch. Walk upstairs and grab a seat on one of the couches or at the bar overlooking the action, and get settled with a book or your laptop (wifi is free). Don’t forget to grab a dozen bagels to take home.
