Chef Smelly's
Chef Smelly’s excels at Creole and soul food staples, served in hefty portions (one plate could function as a doorstop). Additional good news: the semi-permanent pop-up regularly operates out of Au Lounge in Oakland, and there you can dig into heaps of buttery garlic noodles, and mountains of sweet chili prawns, fried catfish, and garlic-drenched Dungeness crab. Even better is that this place plans on opening their first brick-and-mortar in East Oakland.
