Berliner Berliner is a counter-service spot where Rosemunde Sausage Grill used to be. It’s nice to see that the tradition of grilling meats in the Lower Haight lives to see another day. If you have at least 15 minutes to kill, this sausage spot is amazing. While they grill your order grab a beer from Tornado next door as you wait for your choice of beer brats, pretzels with goat cheese and honey dips, or maybe even a Berlin-style döner. Soon, you’ll relish in a world full of giant pickles, sauerkraut, and currywurst.

Suppenküche has San Francisco's best German food on a corner in Hayes Valley. Hope you're ready for some Jägerschnitzel.

Leopold’s is San Francisco’s German-Austrian party cabin in Russian Hill. Most importantly: you can drink beer out of a giant glass boot.
