7 Things To Do In SF This Week

The holiday weekend is over. Tuesday feels like a Thursday. Time is a flat circle. Whatever state of mind you’re in, use this guide to events, specials, and openings going down in the city this week.
Exploratorium + Waterfront Dining
In case you didn’t hear, the Exploratorium reopened last week. So after an afternoon of touching and feeling your way around the interactive museum, may we suggest: a really solid hand washing, a stroll down the Embarcadero, and a visit to one of these excellent waterfront spots.

Salt & Straw X Besharam
Salt & Straw has teamed up with Chef Henna Patel of Besharam (an exciting restaurant, in case you didn’t get the memo) to launch a brand new flavor - Yogurt Lassi with raspberries. The new, limited-edition flavor is available at all of Salt & Straw’s scoop shops (which is in Pac Heights and Hayes Valley, if you’re in the city).
Milk Bar
Milk Bar, the famous New York-based dessert shop, has partnered with Doordash in Redwood City to test out a possible new Bay Area bakery. If you’re in the Peninsula, you can have pies and cookies delivered to your door, or order for pick up in Redwood City. The Chronicle also notes that Milk Bar might expand delivery to San Francisco in the future. They’re also popping up at the Ferry Building at Gott’s Roadside on July 31st.
Damn Fine
One of our favorite new pizza spots in the Sunset is now keeping the wood-fired pies going on Tuesdays. Damn Fine is now open Tuesday-Sunday, which is great news if you love their four-mushroom pizza, like us.
Boichik Bagels
The Berkeley bagel spot that broke the internet (or at least, inspired extremely long lines around the block) just announced they’re now making weekly office deliveries - because no one wants to be back in an office, and everyone loves bagels.
The Mill
Coffee and avocado toast are always great, but are even better when enjoyed inside The Mill’s recently reopened beautiful space on Divisadero. Other spots around the city that recently reopened:
-Lord Stanley
-Nightbird
-Oasis
Nari
Looking for a great spot to have dinner? Make a reservation at Nari - and if you can’t get one, tell them you work for Noma - it worked for Kanye.
