It’s great to support local restaurants by ordering food for takeout and delivery, but you probably still have to make dinner for yourself. Fortunately, a lot of great places are now offering produce boxes and other goods to stock your fridge or pantry. And even if you’re not the best cook, some of these spots have meal kits, so your food can taste like it came from a restaurant kitchen (because, technically, it did). So break out your knives, preheat your oven - and warn your roommates. It’s time to start cooking.
For more ways to support the restaurant industry right now, you can find some ideas and resources here. And for a full directory of restaurants offering takeout and delivery, check out our constantly-updated San Francisco, East Bay, and Peninsula Delivery & Takeout Directories.
