Somehow, we’re into December. And even with the sun setting at 5pm and the weather dipping to beanie-appropriate temperatures, there are still fun plans to make - and we’ve got lots of options for you this week, like a tea and pastry tasting, brunch and live music, or a celebratory Hanukkah dinner. Go forth and enjoy.
Tea With Tekuno and Grand Opening at Millay
On December 4th, Tekuno and Grand Opening are hosting a tea and pastry tasting at Millay, a wine and sake bar in the Castro. Buy a ticket ($40) here and head over to get your flight of Japanese teas, ceremonial matcha, and pastries.
Sip and Shop First Saturdays at Speakeasy Brewery
Speakeasy Brewery in Bayview-Hunter’s Point is hosting a First Saturday event on their outdoor patio on December 4th (12-7pm). If you need to get a head start on your holiday shopping, tons of local vendors will be on hand, along with plenty of food and beer.
Live Music Brunch at Red Window
Sunday brunch at Red Window now includes live music. So take this as an excuse to get to the Spanish restaurant in North Beach, enjoy the beats, and have their excellent patatas bravas and low-proof cocktails.
Hanukkah at Fiorella
Fiorella’s special Hanukkah menu is available for dine-in and takeout at all three of their locations (Richmond, Polk, and the newer one in the Sunset). Until December 6th, you can get into a celebratory spread of latkes, gravlax salad, fried chicken, and more.
New Opening: Le Fantastique
Le Fantastique is a new vinyl-themed wine bar in Hayes Valley that opened a just couple of weeks ago. They have lots of crudos, caviar eclairs, kakigōri, and more to try while you sip on a glass of wine and enjoy some music.
