We’re always looking to make The Infatuation the best platform to find restaurants, and we appreciate your feedback!

Hi Infatuation reader. With restaurants around the country reopening, we understand that socializing in any form might still feel strange, and poses risks too. Should you go out to eat? That’s up to you. But we’ll continue to keep you informed as best we can. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email us at community@theinfatuation.com.

A Running List Of SF Streets That Are Closed For Outdoor Dining
Where (and when) you can eat outside, car-free.
Written by

Since May, San Francisco’s Shared Spaces program has slowly been closing down streets to cars, allowing restaurants more space for outdoor dining. In July, the Mission and Chinatown were the first two neighborhoods to close off select streets. Since then, tons of other areas in neighborhoods around the city have gone carless - in addition to smaller, one-block closures in front of specific restaurants. It’s important to note that these street closures are only expected to run through December, at the latest - and are happening only on certain days of the week, at certain times.

So if you’re looking to support restaurants in these neighborhoods by dining al fresco, here’s a running list of streets that are closed, and on what days. We’ll be updating it regularly as more are added.
