Supplizio
Supplizio is a small spot for traditional Roman street food in Centro Storico, close to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Campo Di Fiori. There are a few tables inside, but when the weather’s nice, try to grab one of the sidewalk tables where you can sit with your snacks and a cold glass of wine. Plates are small, so order liberarlly: we like the classico, cacio e pepe, and amatriciana suppli (a.k.a. perfect little fried balls of rice similar to arancini), plus the crocchetta affumicata and the polpette di melanzane if you’re splitting it all between two people.
