Fat City Cafe
With its checkerboard floor, long counter with mounted stools, and tchotchkes covering the walls, Fat City Café is the textbook definition of a diner. This Multnomah Village institution, on the outskirts of Portland, is famous for its cinnamon rolls the size of a small child’s head. Head there for massive portions of pancakes, French toast, and omelets.
