Russet is a small, upscale American place that’s in an old townhouse right on the border of Rittenhouse Square and Midtown Village. The menu is seasonal and changes every single night, but you can count on seeing a selection of small plates and pastas, followed by larger things like scallops, Happy Valley lamb and Guinea hen. Bring a date, a bottle of wine (it’s BYOB), and be ready to pay up.
Russet is permanently closed.
