There are so many coffee shops in Fishtown that the smaller, less “name-brand” ones tend to be a bit forgotten. Milkcrate on Girard is one of those places, but that also makes it one of the best places in the area to get work done. In addition to having free wifi and comfortable couches to help you WFCS (work from coffee shop), Milkcrate also has a full breakfast and lunch menu. Plus, it doubles as a record store in case you’re looking for some Frank Sinatra or Bruce Springsteen vinyl.
